In Michael Delaney: U.S. Marshall Dakota Territory, Gavett, who now leves in Tacoma, Washington, blends fact and fiction into a story that begins on a Nebraska farm in 1853. The story unfolds through the late 19th century in Deadwood, Belle Fourche, Dickinson and Bismarck, Dakota Territory.
