We'll Meet Again In Heaven: Germans in the Soviet Union Write Their American Relatives, 1925-1937
Ronald J. Vossler compiles 200 letters, arranged in chronological order over a 12-year period, that are translated from the original German into readable English. They were written by German villagers in the Soviet Union to relatives and friends who immigrated to the Dakota in earlier years. They tell the story of what Vossler calls “one of the most remarkable odysseys of suffering of any ethnic group.” 268 pages. Softcover.
