North Dakota’s librarians have a reputation for being among the most valued resources for information in their communities. So what better way for them to celebrate their association’s centennial than to compile a cookbook of more than 350 of their favorite recipes!
Mixed in with the recipes is historical information about the interesting history of the association. It’s a snapshot of the food people on the Northern Great Plains are eating in the early part of the 21st century – from a smattering of the traditional and ethnic to updated versions of old classics that incorporate “modern conveniences” such as the microwave and the slow cooker.
