Dr. David Tselnik was born and educated in the USSR, where he earned a Ph.D. and other professional credentials and job experiences in Moscow. In 1977, he and his mother came to the United States as Jewish refugees. They relocated to Fargo in 1985, where he taught at North Dakota State University and has continued to live in his retirement.
This book shares the struggles he faced as a Jewish man to get a higher education in Moscow, and the challenges he overcame in his career. Through the stories he shares, readers get a perspective on life in the USSR and how Dr. Teslnik made a new life for himself in the United States.
