The Ruby EP by Red Eye Ruby
Red Eye Ruby is a retro roots-rock collective based out of Minneapolis with Bismarck, N.D., native Ruby Blu as the lead singer and guitarist.
The four-piece band channels the soulful rock sounds of Amy Winehouse and the rhythmic roots of New Orleans, in this shiny collection of original music. They sound classic yet very much of this time – speaking openly about abusive relationships and the reality of working as a woman in the male-dominated music industry.
Red Eye Ruby released The Ruby EP, in July 2022 and it is now available in a collector's vinyl. In October of 2022, one of their singles, Sunshine and Good Lookin', was featured as the Song of the Day on the local Minneapolis radio station, The Current.
Featuring eight original songs, this vinyl record also includes the new Bright, Burning Sunbeans, Mockingbird and My Name is Ruby. Enjoy the smooth sounds of this unique collaboration of melody and rhythm!
